Well the summer may have been a washout but we still managed to get some great photos at our weddings. Thanks to all our couples, families, guests & venue staff for making things so much easier for us in the rain! Check out our special offers on weddings & photo parties and we’ll try to bring a smile to your face as we all go back to work & school. Our new beach themed photo parties will help prolong the summer just that little bit longer, and who knows we may get to see a bit of sun yet before Christmas!
BIOGRAPHY
Photographer Cat Taylor and studio co-ordinator Suzanne Cope graduated with BA degrees in media and photography in 2001 and then opened CT Images Photography. The studio is currently based in Bolton town centre, 20 minutes from Manchester city centre. CT Images is continuing to build a large portfolio both with professional clients and individual commissions and has worked alongside north-west model agencies such as Nemesis, creating new images for fashion and commercial models portfolios. They currently work with local bands, cabaret artists, actors and performance agencies and last year shot for Ascension fair trade clothing, a PR campaign for the Church of England.
As well as studio photography, the increased demand for wedding assignments and event coverage takes Cat and Suzanne on local and national assignments, some even international including Mexico and Italy. In 2006 they were fortunate enough to photograph charity projects in Romania, Vienna, Italy, the Philippines and L.A..
From fashion to weddings, beauty make-overs and corporate events, working in varied fields of photography and meeting lots of different people has helped shape Cats portrait work. She aims to capture emotion and character in every image while viewing every shoot as completely unique in style and personality.
Their love of photography and people has helped develop the highly successful 'photo parties' where young women visit the studio to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. The vision of these parties is to not only create beautiful portraits and fun group pictures, but to promote confidence and encourage all women whatever their age to feel comfortable in front of the camera. (Please check out the photo parties link for more information.) The parties are a strand of 'beauty redefined' in which Cat and Suzanne explore societies distorted views on beauty.
